Baby Fat Burning with Your Kids

Positive Parenting by Exercising with Your Kids

It’s rare if I’m compelled to talk about exercise on my blog. But, recently I’ve begun a strength training regiment that will allow me to get back to, what I consider to be, peak state. I miss working out like I did when I was a martial arts tournament competitor, so I decided to break out the old boxing gloves, the resistance bands and rehash my old eating regiment.

Recently, though, I’ve noticed that my four year old daughter has taken an interest in working out with me. Also, my 6 month old son really seems to be active in his walker while I’m working out… so I realized there has to be a way to include them both in this… without actually getting them into the extensive strength training aspects of things.

So, since I’m more of a hard core workout guy and used to working out alone, I really didn’t know how to get started integrating the positive parenting part of things with my exercise routine. Then, a few friends/students of mine… all dads and health nuts said, “Hey Bob, tell us what you think of this Baby Fat Burner.”

Talk about serendipity!

Now… don’t think that I have some affiliate link to this thing or something, because I don’t. Here’s what I’ll tell you. My wife and I sat down and red this e-book and began to implement the strategies with our kids. YES… even with my 6 month old son.

Although it’s heightened my regular exercise routine (and my wife is loving the fit shape she is getting into) I found it to be more than just some exercise program. You see, it’s tough for me, being so busy all the time, to find the strength and time in my day to play and run and have fun with my kids. I chose to work at home to spend time with my family and sometimes my students get more of my time than they do.

With this Baby Fat Burner e-book… I’ve added so much active, fun and healthy quality time to my day with my kids… this is like a gift from God to me. All I have to say is… if you have kids, know someone with kids or, you’re a grandparent, uncle, aunt, big brother or sister… you seriously have got to get this e-book called Baby Fat Burner.

You will LOVE how much it does to heighten your relationship with your little ones… and you’ll love the giggles and smiles on their faces as well. Let’s get back into being active as positive parents… instead of playing the passive role.

Regards
Bob Yeager

The Sky is Falling for Family Fun in the Snow!

By bobyeager, December 18, 2009 11:39 pm

When Pittsburgh People are Under Snow

This is my favorite time of the year. For the past few weeks, it’s been frigidly cold in Pittsburgh in the sub-freezing temperatures. Around Christmas, I always say that I wish it would snow. Not because of the Christmas lights and the festive feeling that it gives me. Not because of the times my family and I cuddle around the fire and sip on some hot co-coa. No, it’s not even to feel like I’m walking in a winter wonderland.

I like the snow for two reasons:

1. It just seems pointless to me if it is cold for no apparent reason. The thick, glistening blanket of snow gives the cold purpose and, oddly enough, makes it feel warmer. How I love shoveling my driveway, 400 yards to the top of the mountain top. My rock salt stained gloves and the beautiful wheezing sound my lung makes as the icy air tickles my bronchial passages (SARCASM).

There truly is no feeling in this world like that of the solid thud of your ass hitting the ground in the sloppy, half melted ice cocktail of snow and slush. Ahhh… the smell of frost bite in the morning, there is no other place in this world I’d rather be.

The second reason I love this kind of snow, and really the most important reason, is… FAMILY SNOWBALL FIGHTS!!!

!!!!BATTLE!!!!

Have a Happy Holiday Season and Have Plenty of Off the Wall Fun with Your Family!

FTC Publishes Final Guides Governing Endorsements, Testimonials

Changes Affect Testimonial Advertisements, Bloggers, Celebrity Endorsements

Here we go. After 29 years, the Federal Trade Commission (US) decides to lay down the “law“. It’s all good, it’s all a matter of protecting the consumer. Obviously internet marketers, myself included, leverage blogs for affiliate marketing, like the products that I list on this site pay me a commission if you buy one of them… as well as the testimonials that we utilize in our marketing is up for grabs in this new regulation.

I’m not a certified legal advisor or anything of that nature, but what I get from the FTC press release is… if testimonials or endorsements make a claim of certain results that a customer has experienced, not only do you have to list that results are not typical… BUT – YOU also must state what RESULTS ARE typical of your customers.

So… if you sell make money courses or tactics… you pretty much have to say “Results are not typical and may vary and most of our customers are lazy slackers realizing that they will not do anything with the material that we produce and are living fantasies of pipe dreams while they sit upon their lazy asses and WISH they were making money while they rave in jealousy over those who are actually doing something and earning a living… or something like that”

Like I said… I’m not a legal representative… but here’s what the US FTC released on their site on October 5th 2009:

FTC Publishes Final Guides Governing Endorsements, Testimonials

Changes Affect Testimonial Advertisements, Bloggers, Celebrity Endorsements

The Federal Trade Commission today announced that it has approved final revisions to the guidance it gives to advertisers on how to keep their endorsement and testimonial ads in line with the FTC Act.

The notice incorporates several changes to the FTC’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, which address endorsements by consumers, experts, organizations, and celebrities, as well as the disclosure of important connections between advertisers and endorsers. The Guides were last updated in 1980.

Under the revised Guides, advertisements that feature a consumer and convey his or her experience with a product or service as typical when that is not the case will be required to clearly disclose the results that consumers can generally expect. In contrast to the 1980 version of the Guides – which allowed advertisers to describe unusual results in a testimonial as long as they included a disclaimer such as “results not typical” – the revised Guides no longer contain this safe harbor.

The revised Guides also add new examples to illustrate the long standing principle that “material connections” (sometimes payments or free products) between advertisers and endorsers – connections that consumers would not expect – must be disclosed. These examples address what constitutes an endorsement when the message is conveyed by bloggers or other “word-of-mouth” marketers. The revised Guides specify that while decisions will be reached on a case-by-case basis, the post of a blogger who receives cash or in-kind payment to review a product is considered an endorsement. Thus, bloggers who make an endorsement must disclose the material connections they share with the seller of the product or service. Likewise, if a company refers in an advertisement to the findings of a research organization that conducted research sponsored by the company, the advertisement must disclose the connection between the advertiser and the research organization. And a paid endorsement – like any other advertisement – is deceptive if it makes false or misleading claims.

Celebrity endorsers also are addressed in the revised Guides. While the 1980 Guides did not explicitly state that endorsers as well as advertisers could be liable under the FTC Act for statements they make in an endorsement, the revised Guides reflect Commission case law and clearly state that both advertisers and endorsers may be liable for false or unsubstantiated claims made in an endorsement – or for failure to disclose material connections between the advertiser and endorsers. The revised Guides also make it clear that celebrities have a duty to disclose their relationships with advertisers when making endorsements outside the context of traditional ads, such as on talk shows or in social media.

The Guides are administrative interpretations of the law intended to help advertisers comply with the Federal Trade Commission Act; they are not binding law themselves. In any law enforcement action challenging the allegedly deceptive use of testimonials or endorsements, the Commission would have the burden of proving that the challenged conduct violates the FTC Act.

The Commission vote approving issuance of the Federal Register notice detailing the changes was 4-0. The notice will be published in the Federal Register shortly, and is available now on the FTC’s Web site as a link to this press release. Copies also are available from the FTC’s Consumer Response Center, Room 130, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20580.

The Federal Trade Commission works for consumers to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices and to provide information to help spot, stop, and avoid them. To file a complaint in English or Spanish, visit the FTC’s online Complaint Assistant or call 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357). The FTC enters complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure, online database available to more than 1,700 civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad. The FTC’s Web site provides free information on a variety of consumer topics.

Well… obviously the internet is buzzing a bit about this today. Funny enough, it’s not because of the FTC site. It’s mainly due to Frank Kern and his awesomely simple way of explaining this whole thing at his Mass Control Blog

Trust me, Kern knows all about the FTC stuff, having all of his assets seized by the boys over at the Federal Trade Commission for his Instant Internet Empire program… simply because he lacked one of those “Results not typical things”.

You do have to be careful. Many people don’t keep up to date with these things but it goes kind of like this. If you sell to or from the US… follow the FTC guidelines. Don’t take my word on it… wait till the rest of the world follows suit… and they will (maybe, perhaps… probably…or they won’t :)

But, I personally don’t see anything wrong with the rules. Keep your shit straight, don’t sell with your testimonials and make honest and valid claims… and be sure you can back them up. My advice? Consult a good internet attorney and leave all of the forms and legalities to the guys who spend their days specializing in these things.

That’s right, it’s true. World class wealth mentor is relaunching the DELFIN Trilogy in a new combined Collector’s Edition as well as launching a simultaneous DELFINworld Personal Empowerment Educational Platform.

The return of the DELFIN Trilogy will include a multifacited Web 2.0 educational platform with complementary DELFIN educaltional videos, a live broadcasting DELFINworld TV streaming video station, a fully functional personal growth community and more.

This isn’t the same old DELFIN. Even if you own a previous copy, the collector’s edition alone is worth the price. I know that the price of this entire educational and personal empowerment package and community isn’t being released until September, but I can say that the mass population will be able to afford it, will be able to grow together, work together, learn together, work together and grow together in this never before released DELFINworld Web 2.0 Spectacular.

They are providing more information about the September 1st debut of new lessons and interviews from Leslie Fieger himself at http://www.DELFINworld.com … be sure to sign up to stay up to date.

Thousands around the world have been begging, literally, for its return… and now the Phoenix is Rising from the Ashes!

The Inside is What Counts

This article will deal with what is on the inside of us. Who we are on the inside, seems to show up on the outside no matter how hard we try to hide it

Greetings self-help readers,

This article will deal with what is on the inside of us. Who we are on the inside, seems to show up on the outside no matter how hard we try to hide it. You have no doubt heard of people wearing their hearts on their sleeves and this is because what is in our hearts are some deep emotions. You can be the best actor/actress in the world but if you are hurting inside you are in bad emotional shape. You can mask your pain with a smile or a laugh but that pain is still there. You can not make that pain disappear with alcohol or drugs it simply returns when the narcotic is out of the system. Medication will also need to be constantly taken if one is on anti-depressants. Why? Because the heart itself, what is on the inside of every single person on this planet is never dealt with. God speaks of people who honor Him with their lips but their hearts are far from Him. God knows what is inside of all of us. The choice can be to run from who we are. To pour ourselves into various addictions to get away from who we are. We must however deal with who we really are if we are to move past any pain in our lives.

Before my darling mother passed away, she uttered the words it is time to move on to my wife and I. Those words were very hard to hear but they still ring true today as I am reminded of them when I reflect back on my last days with her. I could have chosen to stay in the emotional state of numbness that I was in during her last days on earth or proceed to keep all the great memories of my mother in my heart and enyoy the rest of the time that God has given me on the earth. The choice was mine. It was a difficult one but one that I believe that all of us must make when it comes to dealing with who we are. If I chose to stay in a state of numbness and deal with it by working too much or withdrawl I would too busy focusing on myself. I would miss out on spending time with my amazing wife and daughter and I would never be able to get that time back.

Take a look at who you are inside. Talk about the pain with someone you can trust and move on. You can do it. You must do it if you are to be the very best that you can be. Choose not to live in the past because you will miss the very future that God has planned for you.

Much continued positive attitude success,

Bob
