I found this fascinating quote today:

My daughter has a cold and to tell you the truth, this is kind of a rare occurrence. I got lucky with a kid that does not have chronic ear infections or a runny nose. But as I say that, I am looking at my daughter with a runny nose. The reason why she is almost never sick is because I am a stay at home mom and she doesnt go to daycare or hang out with many other kids. Granted, I don’t like the fact that she doesn’t have many play dates with other kids but I cant do much about it right now and it does have one small perk.
