When Pittsburgh People are Under Snow
This is my favorite time of the year. For the past few weeks, it’s been frigidly cold in Pittsburgh in the sub-freezing temperatures. Around Christmas, I always say that I wish it would snow. Not because of the Christmas lights and the festive feeling that it gives me. Not because of the times my family and I cuddle around the fire and sip on some hot co-coa. No, it’s not even to feel like I’m walking in a winter wonderland.
I like the snow for two reasons:
1. It just seems pointless to me if it is cold for no apparent reason. The thick, glistening blanket of snow gives the cold purpose and, oddly enough, makes it feel warmer. How I love shoveling my driveway, 400 yards to the top of the mountain top. My rock salt stained gloves and the beautiful wheezing sound my lung makes as the icy air tickles my bronchial passages (SARCASM).
There truly is no feeling in this world like that of the solid thud of your ass hitting the ground in the sloppy, half melted ice cocktail of snow and slush. Ahhh… the smell of frost bite in the morning, there is no other place in this world I’d rather be.
The second reason I love this kind of snow, and really the most important reason, is… FAMILY SNOWBALL FIGHTS!!!
!!!!BATTLE!!!!
Have a Happy Holiday Season and Have Plenty of Off the Wall Fun with Your Family!

Thanks for doing that video Bob! Loved Sammy on the roof throwing snowballs at Mom & Dad.
BTW, the lederhosen is a good look for you. Is this the first step to new branding?
Yeah, I thought branding myself as an Elf was pretty original
