Brick and mortar business are the most fun to work with Carol. Look... I ran three 6 and 7 figure brick and mortars, as well as, helped maintain sales at a 24 million dollar company and one thing always holds true. Your best joint ventures are your regular customers. Offer them a benefit to referring folks to your business. Second, don't always look toward generating new customers, focus on creating new value for your existing customers.

Finally, these days, everyone expects every business to have a website. So... start a coupon run or special discount mailing list. Set up a site, which can be a single page blog. Add an autoresponder form (instant email newsletter software) and tell your customers or clients that if they sign up there, they will receive regular benefits as a preferred customer.

Just as I tell my online students, an internet business is run 20% online and 80% offline... well, so is a brick and mortar business these days. If you'd like to study a way to better promote your business online, check out my WEST program: http://www.TheWESTProgram.com/west.html You'll find that the same methods I teach internet entrepreneurs, could easily be applied to the offline market as well. That's what I mainly build for my http://www.eWebMarketingManagement.com clients. From floral shops to multi-million dollar investment firms... we handle every type of business imaginable and all of their internet marketing management needs.

Ciao and thanks for following the blog :)
