One of My Students Going Outside the Box With Internet Marketing

Birte Edwards’ Unique approach to internet marketing…cool stuff:

Sure, it may seem odd to talk about organic gardening, dating and horse training for internet marketing, but there are too few people thinking outside the box when it comes to creating a profitable internet business. Basically, if an industry and need for a particular product or service exists online or offline… people on the internet are looking for it.in Business Entrepreneurialism, Business Marketing, Business Marketing Direct, Internet Marketing Tips, Internet and Business, Net Strategy Marketing

Innovation, Internet Marketing Secrets 0 Comment »

Get the latest Flash Player to see this player.

So… Paul Counts thought he could pull a fast one to fill things up at the workshop with his peeps… I got news, until we get this thing sorted, where tomorrow I will be forcing him to take this link down. Go to Traffic Tantrum to get the big fat sneaky discount, just click the video image at the top of the page.

What Paul may not understand is, this thing will probably sell out in the first day… so he just screwed himself for profit and our subscribers will dominate the July Conference! MUHAHAHAHAHA!

Personal Development RAW

Uncategorized 0 Comment »

I found this fascinating quote today:

It wasn’t until I began to learn from Heather’s interviewing skills that I had made my show a success. It’s rare to get Heather on the other side of the interview table, so pay close attention and be sure to take her advice. In the personal development industry, there are a lot of books out there teaching you to build more positive relationships, what Heather and I reveal in this interview “unwraps” the true power of learning to communicate properly.bobyeager in Uncategorized, Personal Development RAW

Social Media Marketing can be for Brick and Mortar Businesses

Uncategorized 0 Comment »

I found this awesome article today:

In an economy where small business is fighting to stay alive, Social Media Marketing can be effectively leveraged for brick and mortar business. It’s too many times that we look at social media marketing as a playground for kids to hang out. Most social media platforms are actually garbage. Yep, you heard it here first. If I were to have the ideal social media platform built, it would be more responsive, more efficient and it would definitely have a category to focus on the brick and mortar business owner.Social Media Marketing can be for Brick and Mortar Businesses, Jun 2009

PPC Bully 2.0 Review on The WEST Program Blog: by Bob Yeager

Here we go again. Another product launch with another adword campaign and keyword spy tool. Are you getting tired of it yet? Well, some marketers are and here’s why. 90% of the people who will purchase the PPC Bully 2.0 will get it, pay monthly membership fees, screw up a few adwords campaigns, lose a ton of money and blaim it all on the tool and say PPC Bully 2.0 is a scam or a keyword spy tool.Bob Yeager, The WEST Program Blog

Educated Moms

Uncategorized 0 Comment »

I found this fascinating quote today:

My daughter has a cold and to tell you the truth, this is kind of a rare occurrence. I got lucky with a kid that does not have chronic ear infections or a runny nose. But as I say that, I am looking at my daughter with a runny nose. The reason why she is almost never sick is because I am a stay at home mom and she doesnt go to daycare or hang out with many other kids. Granted, I don’t like the fact that she doesn’t have many play dates with other kids but I cant do much about it right now and it does have one small perk. That is that she doesn’t often get sick.Educated Moms, May 2009

I found this fascinating quote today:

It’s an obvious truth that wordpress blogs are targets for comment spamming. I am always on the lookout for new plugins or WordPress Spam Blockers, especially those that can help me to moderate less and enjoy the simplicity of allowing my blog to do all of the work. This is especially important when figuring out how to block spam from my blog comments area and using free spam blockers.Bob Yeager, The WEST Program Blog

Bum Knee and a Trip to My Ass?

Failing to Communicate with Yourself

I’m usually pretty careful with how I do my work when I am in my yard. We live on the side of a mountain and it can be pretty slippery out there, when the grass is wet. Last night, I decided to work on all of my different websites and write some new articles and such. When I realized it was getting late, I said to myself, “Boy, I’m going to have to stay up all day tomorrow because my lawn really needs mowing.”

That’s right, just because I have a successful business, it doesn’t mean that I have a gardener or anything. I live back in the woods, on the side of a pretty tricky mountain and my lawn, where most around here are small, is about seven acres and all on a steep slope.

Well, a few years ago I had damaged my knees in the martial arts tournaments and had reconstructive surgery done to them. I walk fine now, but boy do they tend to hurt from time to time. So there I was, today, on the side of the mountain pushing a lawn mower and I stepped in a little ground hog (kinda like a giant gopher) hole.

Down I went. I must of rolled and split my legs in 4 different directions. I sat there, on my ass, laughing. I looked up and realized, “Maybe, I should have gotten some sleep last night.” As I sat there, very glad that there was no one around to see my “CIRQUE DU SOLEIL” or… { Cirque Du So-Lawn:) } I realized I have been beating myself up a little too much.

I sat there, reflecting over the past few months, remembering how I could list off a thousand projects that I’ve completed, but I really couldn’t tell you of any special fun event I’ve had with my family. I surely wouldn’t be able to tell you about any great movies I’ve seen lately and meals have been quick and small. Why? The “Tether Tendency Theory.”

Unbind the Tether that Is Holding You Back from Your Goals

You see, I have a theory where it seems that many of us are tied to this “Tether” that allows us to go so far, to almost reach certain goals and then it whips us back to our current state… seemingly.

At times, we tend to restrain ourselves while working on our goals. We allow ourselves to just touch the hemline of the desired situation we’d like to find ourselves in, then, just when we are about to encompass ourselves with the “robes of prosperity”, that tether snaps us back until there we are, sitting on our ass in the middle of our lawn, laughing because it was ourselves who created this.

I knew that I was in no shape to be going out on that hill today. I hadn’t slept in almost twenty hours, I didn’t eat my regular kick ass healthy breakfast and I was up staring at a computer all night. Last night, I once again watched my family go to bed, instead of going along with them and waking up in the morning with them.

Today I got a bit RAW with myself. What is RAW to me this week?

Reality = Action + Willpower

If we would like to create the reality that we are so striving to achieve, then we must take forward moving action; that’s a no brain-er. But, it’s when we decide to push through procrastination, push through the limits we have placed on ourselves and break away from the priorities we THINK are the most important, we will find that it gets tougher.

“WHAT?”, you say? Yes, it gets tougher. Not every article I write is going to have this happy joy philosophy wrapped in butterflies and kitten kisses. Things do get tougher, but tougher as we perceive it from the stand point of our present selves. You see, if you can be OK with the fact that the success, accomplishments and desires lye at the end of a bumpy road, then you are preparing yourself for any barriers that you may come across.

But imagine this. Imagine that you decided to plan out the path toward the reality you would like to create. Imagine if you mapped out broad strokes of action, that you can later put more detail into. Imagine if, even when you don’t feel like, you decide to press forward and leverage the rarest form of energy any human being possesses, WILLPOWER.

Imagine, if you picked yourself up and said, “I’m going to walk in my house, eat a nice healthy meal, take a long peaceful shower, and take a much deserved nap. Then, when I wake up I’m going back out on that mountain to finish up my work. I’m not going to push and punish my physical body. I’m going to take my time and enjoy the process. Whatever doesn’t get done today, will be there tomorrow… AFTER, I spend some time having fun with my family and for myself.”

Huh… could you imagine what your life would be like if you started taking that R.A.W. approach to your life?

That’s what I did today, have been doing for years and will continue to do. I will never be done growing and I truly don’t want to be. I will make plenty of mistakes in my life and I am sure I will fun recovering from them. Now, it’s time for me to ice my knee and it’s time for you to stop putting it off. What are you putting off? Drumming up the willpower that you have within you. Saying to yourself, “I may not like this approach right now, but it’s time I stop thinking I want everything I’d like and it’s time to start taking action on what I need in my life.”

I found this fascinating quote today:

Most people with a child in diapers looks forward to the day when they hear “I went in the potty”. Sometimes this process can be a bit of a headache but I know that when I was potty training my daughter, I looked to anyone for help and or advice.Educated Moms, May 2009
